The why behind our Existence
King’s Fanau was built on the vision to educate future leaders of the communities. We believe that our “tomorrow” is very important. If we want to invest into our future, it begins by educating our fanau/tamariki/children. Our future is determined by what we do now.
Cultural practices and traditions are unique to all ethnic groups. Our approach at King’s Fanau is very unique in a way that we use the dynamic cultures of both staff and children (Samoan, Maori, Indian, European, Cook Island, Tokelau, Fiji, Chile) to determine each programme. We strongly believe in cultural nurturing (the village concept), teaching the ways of our ancestors (to respective culture).
As a Christian based centre, we also have a strong influence from what we believe. Each day we start with a tatalo/karakia/prayer asking our Heavenly Father to guide and protect us throughout the day.
We are very passionate about children. We love working with future leaders and great “World Changers”.
Meet the Team
We pride ourselves in the quality of education we provide that is tailored to our fanau, aiga and community. Our vibrant team is pieced together with talents and experiences that would cover the different demographics and cultures that our community represent.
Our Curriculum is based on the interests and recreational imaginations of our fanau.
